
MP government’s big announcement: Tomorrow, Rs 150 crore will be released under Sambal Yojana, thousands will get support
MP NEWS: There is a relief news for the workers working in the unorganized sector of Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will transfer ex-gratia assistance amount of Rs 150 crore in 6821 cases under the Sambal Yojana with a single click in a grand program organized at Bargi, Jabalpur.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will transfer Rs 150 crore in 6821 cases of Anustha Aid under Sambal Yojana with a single click. Labor, Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Prahlad Singh Patel, ministers, MPs, MLAs and local public representatives from various places of the state will be present in this program to be held in Bargi, Jabalpur on Friday. Sambal Yojana in the state is a very important scheme for lakhs of workers working in the unorganized sector. Under the scheme, 1 crore 76 lakh workers have been registered since its inception.
The registration process is continuing. Under Anustha Aid in the scheme, Rs 4 lakh is provided in case of death in an accident and Rs 2 lakh in case of normal death. Rs 2 lakh is provided on permanent disability and Rs 1 lakh on partial permanent disability and Rs 5 thousand for funeral assistance.
In the Sambal Yojana, on one hand, Rs 16,000 is given to the female worker for maternity assistance, while on the other hand, the entire tuition fee for higher education for the children of the workers under the Mahavidyalaya Shiksha Protsahan Yojana is borne by the state government. On the initiative of the Government of India’s NITI Aayog, the gig and platform workers of the state have also been included in the Sambal Yojana and their registration has been started.
They are also being provided all the benefits under the Sambal Yojana. Sambal beneficiaries also receive food grain eligibility slips, through which they are getting ration at subsidized rates by the central and state government. Sambal Yojana is a very important scheme for lakhs of workers working in the unorganized sector in the state, in which financial assistance is being given to the worker from birth to death. In the real sense, this is the support of the workers, the credit for implementing which goes to the state government. This scheme of Madhya Pradesh is exemplary for all the states of the country.
The state government also runs several schemes for lakhs of construction workers of the state through the Nirman Mandal, these include ex-gratia assistance on death of construction workers and assistance on permanent and partial disability. All Sambal beneficiaries have been identified in the eligible category under Ayushman Bharat Niramaya Yojana, they are getting the benefit of free medical treatment worth Rs five lakh annually.
