In view of the changing weather pattern, the Meteorological Department has predicted strong winds till evening on Friday amid sunshine and clouds and showers with strong winds in Jabalpur and other districts of the division including Mandla, Balaghat, Chhindwara from June 14. According to the regional meteorological office, a cyclone is currently formed over Punjab.
At the same time, a trough from a cyclonic circulation is extending at a high altitude from Haryana, West Madhya Pradesh to South East Madhya Pradesh. Due to its effect, there are chances of rain in the coming days. Monsoon is expected to become active from June 15.
